Statistics for Policy Analysis II
This course will build off Statistics for Policy Analysis I. The first portion of the course will provide an introduction to logistic regression and general linear modeling, as well as multiple logistic regression, diagnostics and the meaning and interpretation of coefficients. The second portion of the class will cover the tensions between causal inference and associations that form the basis for econometrics. We will begin with the Rubin Causal Model, then turn our attention to random clinical trials, natural experiments, propensity scores and placebo tests.
