Office of Career Services
Welcome to the Pardee RAND Graduate School Office of Career Services. Partnering with organizations hiring our graduates is an important part of our mission. Our Career Services staff provides comprehensive support to prospective employers, current fellows, and recent graduates, as well as streamlined communication among all parties.
PRGS was founded in 1970 as one of the original eight graduate programs in public policy in the United States with the intent of becoming the premiere policy doctoral program in the world. Our students have the intellect, tools, perspective, and drive to tackle the problems facing the nation and the world. While at PRGS, our students take advanced courses in such fields as economics, statistics, policy analysis, and the social sciences. They also work as members of RAND's interdisciplinary research teams. This combination of advanced course work and on-the-job training is unique; it's curriculum plus vitae. Fellows obtain the best research training in our classrooms, and they get to apply it to real problems with RAND mentors and current clients. After program completion, our graduates pursue challenging and meaningful opportunities at some of the world's most prestigious research institutions, government organizations, and universities, as well as private and not-for-profit corporations.
Should you wish to learn more about the PRGS students currently seeking opportunities or visit PRGS and meet our students in person, our Career Services staff is ready and willing to assist you.
